Inuk Fur Beaded Whale Tail Earrings
These handcrafted whale tail earrings tell a story of tradition, memory, and Indigenous artistry. Created by an Indigenous beader, each pair is inspired by heritage, family, and a deep connection to the natural world.
Inspired by my dad, one of my favorite memories as a child was watching humpback whales surface in the waters around Labrador. The whale tail design reflects that connection, symbolizing strength, guidance, and respect for the sea.
Each pair is intricately beaded and accented with authentic fur, honoring the traditional materials and cultural significance that shape my work. Lightweight and comfortable to wear, these earrings are both meaningful and expressive, offering more than an accessory — they carry a story.
Because natural materials and handmade techniques are used, every pair is unique. Variations in beadwork and fur texture are part of what makes each set one of a kind.
